Complete is a box set compilation by British band The Smiths, released by Rhino Records in the UK on 26 September 2011. A deluxe version contains the albums on both CD and LP formats, as well as 25 7-inch vinyl singles and a DVD. With Morrissey, Craig Gannon, Mike Joyce, Johnny Marr. Thirteen Smiths' recordings, half of them in a club with a live audience. These alternate with five rock videos, two directed by Derek Jarman Panic and Ask, two by Tim Broad Girlfriend in a Coma and Stop Me. and one by Paula Grief and Richard Levine How Soon Is Now. Although the Smiths' career coincided with the music-video boom of the 1980s, the band resisted using that medium to promote its recordings and relatively few clips were made to accompany Smiths singles. When the band did venture into video it did so only under extreme pressure, as vocalist Morrissey once remarked.
