Mick Taylor's Stranger in This Town was recorded mostly in Sweden in the summer of 1989, except for Little Red Rooster, recorded in Germany, and You Gotta Move, the traditional blues number found on the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers, recorded in Philadelphia in December of 1989. This is a blues album, make no doubt about it, and it is one of Taylor's finest. Songs in album Mick Taylor - Stranger In This Town 1990. Mick Taylor - Stranger In This Town. Mick Taylor is the debut studio album by the former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, released in 1979. Though the album was acclaimed by critics, the album's blues-based style was somewhat unfashionable at the time of release, when punk and new wave were becoming more popular. Taylor had tried to get his former band The Rolling Stones to record Leather Jacket on multiple occasions. The Rolling Stones version can be found on many bootleg records. Stranger In This Town. This song is by Mick Taylor and appears on the Live album Stranger in This Town 1990. Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm downSometimes I'm falling on the groundYou pick me up, you play aroundI'm a stranger in your town. Come on around and wind me upI need the taste of your loving cupWe can dance and I'll play all nightCome and see me, come and see me. I'm running round this crazy townI've got you scent like an old bloodhoodI see trouble up aheadI'm so weary I need your bed. Mick Taylor Format: Audio CD.
