I mean it. 返信 1 返信を見る 通知を希望する 5 Helpful. MUST HAVE EP - RARITY によって Lou Amaro. want によって elined. Invisible Bitchslap is nominally restrained in its 120 BPM plod, building momentum like a steam engine, with hissy hi-hats finding their way beneath the pounding syncopated beat. Vincent drops in dub clouds halfway in, and it's at this moment that his MO is clear: This is overwhelming dub house, music that creeps up on you and-before you realize it-completely envelops you in its clutches. • Both sides of this are availble on Levon Vincent's bandcamp page!https://levonvincent.bandcamp.com/album/collection-all-defunct-deconstruct-complimentary-free

  • Ok guys, honestly, but who cares about the title of a club track? Seriously someone is complaining for that? This is an amazing classic. Both sides they sound warm, fat, nasty: i'd fancy to have hundreds of record like this.

  • Deconstruct was a label that ran from 2008-2011 and crashed hard, thereafter. Only one word sums up my involvement with the Deconstruct project: It was an embarrassment. The only thing I am still with are the songs themselves. The vinyl would never be produced again, however, it's 10 years since the first release- and DJs still frequently ask me for this music. SOOOO:I redacted the song names and I put fully mastered high-resolution audio files up on Soundcloud page. Go for it! The songs are freely downloadable for all DJs to: 1. You may play these songs in Clubs, parties, and you may include them in your podcasts, radio mixes, or mixtapes as long as they are given away for free.2. The bearer of these songs may NOT include any of this music in any commercially available DJ mix, you may not re-distribute this music in any form for any commercial means whatsoever, and you may not remix, edit, re-compose, sample or re-publish this music in any form other than stated here in point 1.All songs copyright Levon Vincent and all rights reserved.-Levon Vincent 19/12/2017

  • Are these free downloads still available? I can't seem to find them.

  • and they sound really bloody good! 10 more words ...

  • "L-V October 12, 2017_____Hello, People frequently ask me to re-press the first 2 releases on Deconstruct. Deconstruct shut down years ago. Truth is, Anthony and I had a falling out in 2013, and we have not spoken since then, save for a 'hello' once a year when our paths cross at gigs. Aside from that, there are no words between us. We resolved to release 'wild life' so that he could release something on Deconstruct, but, as they say, "Thats all folks!" _____I have no intention to repress any of the catalog. I do own the rights to DEC-01 and DEC-02, one day I might pass them off to a bigger label, and they can provide collectors with a new edition.. Otherwise, if you don't own a copy and want one, I recommend you spend the $$$ the sharks are asking for it, or get a good vinyl rip from a friend or colleague. Sorry bout that!- Levon Vincent 2017"

  • don't feel so bad about spending loads on a copy recently now, I was holding out for a repress for so long

  • Well, there goes all hope for a repress anywhere in the near future... :(

  • Edit: Bit the bullet and purchased it. No Regrets.I come to this page at least twice a week hoping a. There would be a copy for a fair price and b. News of a repress.I own the majority of Levon's tracks but this one I regret to say is way out of my price range. I would give my left arm to hear this on Fabric's sound system.

  • Any updates on the repress anyone?? Havent heard of it being mentioned anywhere else, thanks.

  • I talk to Levon Friday the 3rd of Feb, repress is coming for Spring !

  • Did Levon mean spring 2018 ? :) Patiently waiting here ....

  • a: he was youngb: he needed the moneyWoman is much much better as an angel.

  • pussyits about the music, but just to let you know i grew up with only 3 sisters and believe me sounds like that!!!! women is a devil... masterpiece!!

  • Word from Levon Vincent himself (via Facebook) – "yes, hold tight. I mean it"

  • Yes! I didn't catch this on his FB page. Any idea when?

  • hold out and don't pay exorbitant costs. call your local congressman and ask he support a repress. that or try contacting levon on facebook's page requesting a repress. he's a great guy and might oblige

  • If anyone is willing to trade a mint or near mint copy in exchange for the DJ Metatron ‎– 2 The Sky let me please know.

  • My friend gave this to me for a gift. I had no idea about the price!

  • 1792 = Time for a repress please. That would be amazing.

  • Levon please repress this timeless masterpiece, the discogs sharks are still hungry.

  • simply genius...

  • I have a copy that I would like to trade for other dance music type plastic circles

  • good music, stupid misogynistic titles.

  • we got a special snowflake here

  • If only everything in life was vanilla and inoffensive

  •   Sephiroth_X: do you think you would have reacted the same way if the titles were "black people are the devil" or "invisible niggaslap" ? I'm not saying it's the exact same thing but the same principles are at work here.

  • putting a title to a tune is harder than you think, specially if its generic techno or house, also who cares about titles hahaha, i rather have a stupid title than a stupid vocal sample ruining the tune.

  • The price is raw !

  • Does anyone know if this one is on Levon's plans to be repressed?

  • just asked him on facebook. i think i've got a yes, it's going to be repressed ! :) i deny to pay these prices..

  • keep your ears open for a few reissues for Deconstruct Music ‎soon

  • only the rawest house. I love love love this record. yes the prices are high, but it makes me happy that rare and wonderful records like this are out there in the world, completely outside of the digital realm...

  • Sorry but thats definitely not true - Levon Vincent pressed much more Records than you maybe imagine. There were Represses of many Records - i do´nt know how it is with this one here. But if you want to know sth. about represses or why they did´nt appear so far ask Levon on his official Facebook site.I asked him about a repress of djsf and he said he will sooner or later do a repress "yeah sure, sooner or later. I did make a TON of NS-08 which included DJSF II..."He also replied in detail to troubles with the record "Stereo Systems" - scroll a bit down - he introduces himself as Levon in the first sentence http://www.discogs.com/reviews?release=4081330#c205927.

  • lol rare and wonderful! I agree but we're not talking about some rare 70's cut or some dub plate special. Levon Vincent seems to think it's cool in some way to press limited copies whereby demand way outstrips supply (maybe a fantasy in his mind about creating some level of hysteria). All it does is make a lot of fans unable to fully appreciate his music. To me this isn't being clever or cunning, it's some obscure form of arrogant naivety.

  • The b side sounds like a cover of Maurizio's M6.

  • Great timeless raw house record - a bitchslap!

  • Woman is the Devil is one of my favorite tracks ever, so raw. Been close to shelling out the £40+ for a copy, please repress!

  • the price is a bitchslap

  • hahahaha.

  • agree with you 100%.

  • Pure and raw as fuck. No need that fluffy house shit.

  • If there's one word to describe this record, it's "raw". It's simply raw house beats in 4/4 time - no fancy or cheesy stuff here. Levon Vincent has built for himself quite the reputation thanks to productions like both sides of this record, "Double-Jointed Sex Freak", and others.

  • Never leaves my bag,Still sounds as fresh as the first time i heard it

  • evil track, loved to hear it in the panoramabar some time ago

  • The B-side of this humorously titled release is hands down one of my favourite tracks of all time, and definitely my favourite Levon Vincent creation. One of the few records that I can honestly say is well worth the high marketplace price, though I hope my copy gives me years of play! There's really no fitting description for this shifting chugger; it's a totally melodic and dubby slice of techno with a nice, subtle tinge of house-y-ness. It keeps going and going, with every element in its perfect place. Lots of reverb and warped sounds that build a series of layered loops from some ultimately quite simple components. For me that's the mark of perfection: a fugue-like cycle that plays on a perfect kick, bass drum, etc. And did I mention there are some VERY fat synth chords? Oh, and I just listened to it again and must add that there are some sweet pitched up lasers. I've always had a soft spot for the sound of lasers! Mmmmmm, Woman Is The Devil indeed.
