Album

Over-Nite Sensation is a studio album by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, released in September 1973. It was followed by Zappa's solo album Apostrophe ' 1974, which was recorded during the same sessions. Frank Zappa wanted to use backup singers on the songs I'm the Slime, Dirty Love, Zomby Woof, Dinah-Moe Humm and Montana. His road manager suggested The Ikettes, and Ike & Tina Turner were contacted. Ike Turner insisted that Zappa pay the singers, including Tina Turner, no more. Tells the story of the recording of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention's Over-Nite Sensation and Zappa's solo album Apostrophe '. Title: Frank Zappa: Apostrophe 'Over-Nite Sensation 01 May 2007. This is Frank Zappa's most commercially accesible album, because it has Don't eat the yellow snow which was his biggest single up until Valley Girl in the eighties I think. Frank actually cut out parts of Dont eat the yellow snow and Nanook Rubs it to form a single for the radio I believe. This album is basically a collection of incomplete stories with a very good amount of humor. Some of you won't find Frank's humor funny but hopefully most will after a few listens. The album has some excellent musicians on it, and some great guitar work by Zappa. Frank - classic album: apostrophe zappa over - classic album: new DVD. RUB Shipping.
